All concerts are given at the Episcopal Church of the Good Samaritan, 425 North Cedar Bluff Road.

who blends excellent formal training in the United States and Europe with the rich cultural heritage of Persia to bring audiences an extraordinary musical experience.
Hillbilly Flamenco Guitarist/Songwriter David Feder has been captivating audiences worldwide with his playfully sensual music for over 20 years. With a warm smile and a funny charismatic presence, this remarkable musician has earned a devoted following. And with his fresh approach to the finger style Classic guitar, Feder breathes new life into the American Gypsy-World Music scene.
Brad Richter may be one of the most influential classical guitarists working today. His ability to defy the technical limits of his instrument has earned him comparisons to the likes of Franz Liszt and Nicolo Paganini by luminaries of the American classical music scene. Equal parts performer, composer, and educator, he has amassed nearly 1,000 concert appearances in North America and Europe – more than 50 of which have
been broadcast on NPR’s Performance Today. Brad’s compositions for solo guitar and guitar in ensemble are performed by guitarists the world over.
Join the Knoxville Guitar Society for its December Benefit Concert. This concert will feature students of local guitar teachers such as Larry Long, Jeff Comas, Ed Roberson, Chris Lee, and Andy LeGrand as well as other guest artists.
Since the mid 80’s, Kirk Hanser has performed throughout the U.S., Europe and Japan as a soloist and ensemble member. In concert and on recordings these days, he is mainly heard with John McClellan as the internationally acclaimed Hanser-McClellan Guitar Duo. Their most recent recording, ”La Vida Breve”, was called “…passionate, beautiful…guitar playing at its highest order” by Fingerstyle Guitar Magazine (U.S.), while Classical Guitar Magazine in the U.K. delighted in the duo’s “…sheer swagger & verve.”
Carlo Aonzo, from Savona, Italy, founded and conducts the Italian Mandolin Academy Orchestra and regularly records, performs and tours all over the world. In 2006, he set up the International Mandolin Academy to promote the Italian mandolin tradition. Born in Cuba, René Izquierdo is a graduate of Yale University School of Music and a professor of classical guitar at the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. As a concert artist, René has performed throughout the world, receiving wide critical acclaim for his performances.
Belle Triste consists of Candice Mowbray on classical guitar and Anita Thomas on clarinet. Through carefully-chosen repertoire, new arrangements and original compositions, Belle Triste has prepared a thoughtful, expressive and entertaining program of music that brings influences of many genres into a classical setting and appeals to a broad range of audiences.
